Hope Guardians is a non-profit organisation providing free weekly online one to one therapy for disadvantaged young adults. Our work is powered by dedicated therapists, known as Guardians, and by the donations that ensure no young person is denied support because they cannot afford it.

I kept feeling like I wasn’t enough — not confident enough, not social enough, not doing life ‘right’ like everyone else. Constant comparing made me anxious all the time. Having someone to talk to each week helped me understand where those feelings came from. I’m learning to be kinder to myself, and life feels less overwhelming. Jason, 19
After losing my mum, even getting out of bed felt impossible some days. I kept trying to function so people wouldn’t worry, but inside I was barely holding on. Talking in these sessions gave me space to share what I’d been swallowing for months. It hasn’t fixed everything, but I’m not as lost in the sadness anymore. Mia, 26
Between coursework deadlines, rent going up, and pressure from family, I felt like I was carrying everything alone. These sessions became the one place where I didn’t have to pretend I was fine. Being able to talk honestly without feeling judged helped me finally breathe again. Callum, 23

Harveer Singh, Psychiatrist, London “Guiding young clients through moments when life feels unbearable and seeing the resilience that emerges over time has been deeply meaningful. It’s a privilege to walk alongside them as they reclaim parts of themselves they thought were lost.”
Dr. Ethan Clarke, Psychologist, Leeds “Supporting young adults through this platform has been incredibly rewarding. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone regain confidence piece by piece - noticing their posture shift, their voice strengthen, their hope return. It’s why I chose this profession.”
Sophie Turner, Mental Health Therapist, Bristol “Working with young people who’ve never had access to therapy before has reminded me just how transformative consistent support can be. Watching someone slowly trust the process - and themselves - is one of the most powerful parts of this work.”
